The Islamic revolution is a focal event in Iran’s history and is full of memorable reminiscences which keeping them live is an important duty of cultural authorities.

February 1st is one of the most memorable days, which is considered as the starting day of Islamic revolution victory. Imam Khomeini’s speech near the beloved martyrs of the country in Tehran’s Behesht-e Zahra cemetery in this day, is something that everyone from that day remembers.

Unfortunately after 33 years of this important event, the spot where Imam Khomeini sat and gave the speech has been left unnoticed, without a worthy design. Therefore, Tehran’s Beautification Organization invites all the interested designers to take part in a design competition for reviving this historic spot with a creative commendable design.
