The Mayor of Tehran City Opened Iran Calligraphy Museum

According to public relations and international affairs of Tehran Beautification Organization, the ceremony was held in August 19, 2017 in Fouladvand Mansion with the presence of Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the mayor of Tehran City, Majid Molanorouzi, the general manager of Visual Arts Department of Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Dr. Khosro Abadi, the general manager of Cultural Heritage of Tehran City, Tabesh, the head of Farabi Cinema Foundation, Dr. Ayazi, mayor’s advisor, Dr. Mojtaba Abdollahi, the cultural and art deputy of the municipality, Yazdani, the deputy of urban services, Mr. Rahjiri, Mr. Shirazi, Mr. Malekzadeh, Mr. Sa'atchi, Mr. Falsafi, Mr.Ghelichkhani, Mr.Salahshour, and Mr. Nezam al-Olama, and the doors of Iran Calligraphy Museum were officially opened to the people who are interested in this art.

In this ceremony, Dr. Alizadeh welcomed all the guests and gave a speech about the process of repairing Fouladvand Mansion, and the foundation of Iran Calligraphy Museum.

Mohit Tabatabaii, as the representative of repairing team of Fouladvand Mansion, and Hamed, as the representative of supervising team, also gave a speech.

Dr. Mohammad Ghalibaf said in this ceremony: The artists are the great assets of this city and country, and we hope that this place becomes more and more popular. I appreciate all the efforts of our friends who attempted in repairing this mansion, and the ones who worked in the supervising and credit area. Certainly, there have been many groups who worked together to make this happen.

At the end of this ceremony the people, who helped with repairing the mansion and opening the museum, were given appreciation letters, and Iran Calligraphy Book of the museum was unveiled.
